Product Description

Bigger than original equipment rudder blade and made of a better material, for more steering control and greater durability with faster delivery and bonus pin and hand knob.

Bonuses included: (1) our better rudder pin ($15 value) and (2) a superior locking mechanism for the blade angle adjustment -- instead of a hex nut which requires a wrench every time you adjust it, we provide a hand knob with a nylon friction insert so you can adjust the rudder blade angle by hand and lock it where you want it without use of tools.

The blade material is HDPE -- a rugged plastic that will not break or deteriorate in water. For OEM plywood rudder blade see item 5606.

The higher performance blade (this item - 5604) usually delivered in a week or less. The wood blade takes longer, because of factory order processing time.

Compatible only with the 3-piece rudder that has an aluminum tiller, black plastic rudder head, and bolted-on kick-up blade. Not compatible with the old-style 2-piece, all-wood rudder and tiller.

The rudder head is not included (black plastic part that blade, tiller and pin attach to).
