The Sail-Yak is the Sevylor SVX2020 Dive-Yak set up for sailing with our kayak sail rig. Exact size: 12' 10" long x 46" beam. Stable enough to sail without stabilizer floats, yet narrow and nimble enough to propel with a double-bladed paddle (optional). Accepts up to 3.5 HP motor with optional Sevylor MM3 motor mount, which doesn't interfere with sail rig. Weighs just 40 pounds without sail rig. Can carry up to 600 pounds. Swamp-proof: Water runs right out the open back or through holes in bottom. Paddles straight, fast and easy. Exciting to sail in a good wind. Standard sail is 45 SF nylon sail.
