Extension snaps into front crossbar and makes it longer. Free shipping as an add-on item. Easily snaps apart for compact storage and transporting of your sail kit. We offer this option with the Intex Mariners, Intex Seahawk 400 and the Sevylor 5-person and 6-person boats in mind. These boats are too wide for our standard 46-inch front crossbar. The longer front crossbar (52 inches in most cases) these boats require is included standard when you order a sail kit for one of these boats. But if you want a 46-inch crossbar and a snap-on extension so that the kit will fit in a 4-ft. bag, order this item. If we see you have ordered the extension, then we'll ship the 46-inch bar with the kit. The free shipping only applies to buyers of a sail kit. Bought alone, shipping cost is $12
