This item has the up/down adjustment, based on our unique square-post system.  For canoes and other boats with more freeboard than a kayak, this up/down adjustment allows you to put the floats right down to the water sometimes, and retract them up to hover above the water at other times.  Easy star-knob locking system makes float height adjustment a breeze.
