If you want to sail your Zodiac-type boat with our item 2009 sail rig, but also keep your outboard on the transom, one option for steering while sailing is to mount the rudder blade to the motor. All you need are: (a) This short rudder head and included square u-bolt, (b) the rudder that comes with the item 2009 sail rig, and (c) an outboard stabilizer plate you obtain elsewhere ($59 - we'll tell you where) .
