Weight matters a lot for how quickly you tire when paddling. That's why we love this Cannon 39-oz. kayak paddle. Length is 230 centimeters (about 7 1/2 feet). Stiff yet light. Blade is asymetrical spoon. Drip rings. Shaft is aluminum, 1 1/8" diameter. Blades are nylon (glass reinforced). Shaft comes apart in middle .
