 Big enough for the canoe or kayak rig including the stabilizer floats, with a handy pouch compartment for small parts. Also good for the inflatable boat rig. Heavily padded shoulder strap and suitcase-type handle. Strong fabric and strong zipper. Get it for the inflatable boat sail rig even if you don't get stabilizers, so you'll have extra room for a towel and a life jacket and a few other odds and ends. Although it's technically too big for the airline free baggage allowance, Jim (SailboatsToGo owner) has flown with it many times and never gotten hit with an over-sized bag fee. They weigh stuff, but rarely measure dimensions. If you want a bag that fits within airline dimension restrictions and can hold the sail rig excluding stabilizer floats, see item 3012 (item 3012 bag requires upgraded leeboards; item 6005 bag does not).  This handy duffel bag is custom made to fit all the parts for the inflatable boat sail kit with upgrade to unbreakable leeboards (item 5092). And, the bag is within the allowable dimensions for standard bags on the airlines. Actual bag is even better than pictured: It is gray and has shopping bag handles in center, made of strong webbing, in addition to shoulder strap. Order larger bag (item 6005) if you have standard leeboards. Dimensions are 47" x 9" x 7" with full-length zipper and shoulder strap. Alternative: We have a larger bag -- see item 6005 -- for all sail kits with standard leeboards, including kits with stabilizer floats. We've flown with it many times and never been charged extra due to its size. |

Sturdy carry bag will keep all the parts of your sail kit together and make them easy to transport (stabilizer floats excepted). Bag is a little bigger than our item 3012 bag so the standard leeboards will fit and you don't have to be as careful to arrange things to get everything in. If you want a bag large enough for stabilizer floats in addition to a sail kit, get our 6005 bag, or get two of these bags (item 3032 is a discounted price for 2). This is not a shoulder bag. Has hand-carry handles only. Zipper closure. We haven't listed any shipping cost on this item, because it's free shipping if bought with a sail kit or stabilizer. Flat-bladed 7' oar with clamp-on oarpin. Use with our sail kits and canoe rowing attachment. Sail kits come with one, but you may like to have a second one. It's very convenient, when sailing, to have steering oars on both sides. You don't use them both at once for steering, but it allows you to steer with either hand without having to shift the steering oar from side to side. |
