Viewing SailboatsToGo Videos

People who have seen our sailboats in action on video say that it really fired their enthusiasm to own one.  So, we want you to be able to view them.  Some of our videos are loaded on YouTube, and these may work for you even if those on our own server don't.  You Tube Videos:

If our other internet videos are not working for you, here are some tips:

1)  It works best over a high speed (cable or DSL) connection.  If you don't have a high speed connection at home, maybe you can see the video at work or at a friend's house?

2)  Sometimes the server is too busy to handle video.  Try again at a different time of day.

3)  There are three ways to see our videos:

• Streaming video -- this is what happens when you just left click on the video link.  This is the most convenient method, and also the LEAST likely to work properly

• Download the video file to your hard drive -- If you download a video to your hard drive, then you can play it entirely within your computer, without depending on our server or the speed of your internet connection.  This is most likely to work.  To download a video, right click on the link instead of left clicking.   This will bring up a pop-up menu and you select "save target as"  or "download file"  or "save" (the wording is different on different computers).   Once downloaded to your computer, you find the file and double-click on it, or use the file/open commands in your player software (e.g. Windows Media Player, Real Player, etc.)   Make sure you are downloading it as the right file type.   It should have a ".wmv" or  ".avi" ending to the file name and choose "all files" not "html" in the "save as type" box.   Only videos 4 and 5 on the inflatable sailboat page are .avi files.  The rest are .wmv.

• Ask us to send you videos on a CD.  Let us know whether you want a CD to play on your computer or on a DVD player.  Jim@sailboatstogo.com
