Extremely Portable Catamaran

We took the "Haiku" inflatable Pontoon Boat (from Clear Blue Hawaii, Inc.) and designed our own folding sail kit for it.   The result:  A sailing catamaran you can carry in your car's trunk, store in a closet or under a bed, and fly with on the airlines within the free baggage allowance.  One person can handle it, on land and in the water.  And it has 2 seats with room for a 3rd for a youngster, and 500-lb. total payload capacity. As we do on most of our models, we offer two sail sizes for the Cat2Go.  Above is our standard 45 SF sail with rainbow stripes.    The boat moves very well with the standard sail, even in moderate winds.    Watch the video, and note that most of the footage uses this sail.	As an upgrade option, we offer a 55 SF sail in yellow and white with black logo.  The larger sail is mostly for making the most of weak winds (under 10 mph).   But we pair it up with a stronger mast, so that you can still use it with stronger winds.   Custom dacron sails also available -- you choose the color scheme.

We took our Cat2Go inflatable catamaran to Maho Bay, St. John in the Virgin Islands for testing, and we loved it.   Plus, it attracted more admiring interest from strangers on the beaches and in other boats than any other craft we've ever traveled with.   It's comfortable, gives a great sensation of speed, and tacks upwind, thanks to the leeboards and ruddering oar unit we provide.

Rowing outriggers -- For serious rowing in the Cat2Go, take the sail off and use 2 steering oars and the front crossbar from the sail kit, plus these rowing outriggers, to really row.  Faster and better exercise than paddling.  The rowing outriggers get the oarlocks out a good distance from your body, for great leverage and good body mechanics.   You don't sail with these installed.  This is another life for your cat altogether!   Good with the bench seat.  Includes 2 pair of clamps for attaching to the frame of the boat.   $85  Buy Now
