Fast, nimble, rugged, stiff and portable -- that's our 14-foot (13' 8") inflatable sailing kayak. The hull is a Sevylor SVX 200DS (164" long x 34" beam - now called SK200DS or U247) River X K2 Kayak . We've designed a special sail rig for it, that leaves most of the hull unencumbered by any metal parts, so you can sit on the sides, lean over the windward side to hike out, or paddle without interference from the sail rig. (Sail rig alone - see item 2021). This is our fastest inflatable sailboat, because of its length and sleek hull shape. Bow and stern come to a sharp point with upward curve (rocker) so that it rides over or cuts through choppy water. Upwind performance is good. Room enough for two. Air chambers have non-stretch skin that allows you to inflate them hard. This is a very high-quality kayak. Tracks very well for paddling. Includes kayak & sail rig with 45-sq. ft. nylon sail in multicolor design (red, white, blue & yellow). Boat is stable enough to sail without stabilizer floats (order separately), but more stable with them. Hand pump, pressure guage and bag for boat included. Weight of boat is 35 lbs.
