Photo Comparisons of Intex Seahawk Sport 400 vs.

 Sevylor XR116GTX Super Caravelle

Intex in the foreground (above), at left (below)

Intex Seahawk Sport 400 advantages:  Lighter, stiffer, sportier, with upturned bow & stern.  Faster in a strong wind.  Equal in a light wind.  Cockpit is 8" longer and same width (except at ends, where Sport 400 gets narrower).  Note:  Do not confuse Sport 400 with the Intex Seahawk 400, a totally different boat.  Seahawk II is successor to Seahawk Sport 400 -- same great sailing performance, better looks, accepts new-style motor mount.

Sevylor advantages:  Both main air chambers go all the way around, (vs. left/right separation for Sport 400), giving Sevylor "boat within a boat" safety.  Almost twice the weight carrying capacity (1100 pounds vs. 660 for the Sport 400).  Cockpit is 2" deeper (12" vs. 10").   Much great outboard motor capacity (3.5 HP vs. 1.5 HP).  Also, Sport 400 has low 18-lb weight limit on outboard.

Conclusion:  The Sport 400 is the sailor's sports car.  The XR116GTX is the family minivan.  (Slight exaggeration).   Since they are inexpensive and easy to store, you may want to get 1 sail rig and both boats, to use on different days.
